Enza Mancinelli is a strong advocate for higher education for children from all walks of life. The proud mother of five children and two grandsons knows first-hand the importance of educational opportunities for all. A lifelong Hamiltonian, she lives on Hamilton Mountain together with her husband of 36 years, Joseph S. Mancinelli, LiUNA’s International Vice President and Central and Eastern Canada Regional Manager, and has been a tireless champion of children’s causes. She is a supporter of many charitable initiatives which have included the Down Syndrome Association of Hamilton; St. Joseph’s Villa; the Sinai Health Foundation; St. Joseph’s Healthcare, The Art Gallery of Hamilton, the Sacred Heart Parent’s Council and St. Patrick’s Church. Enza has a strong sense of citizenship and proudly serves as a Founding Circle Member for Six Degrees. She has also volunteered at the Queen’s Garden Long-term Care Facility in Hamilton. As well, together with her husband, Enza has always generously and graciously opened her home to various fundraising initiatives including welcoming Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, former Prime Minister Paul Martin and former Premier Dalton McGuinty, among others. Prior to becoming a full-time mom, Enza enjoyed a career in travel and tourism.
