Mission with Youth

Our mission’s purpose is to use our enthusiasm and faith to lead and cultivate our youth to become disciples of Jesus Christ, to experience authentic friendship, and to extend service and hope to those in need.

We seek leaders who wish to have a positive effect on the inner city youth within our community. When we lead others to Christ, our own faith is strengthened. As we talk about Jesus, teach how to know Him and exemplify His love in our lives, we’re strengthening our own walk with God!

Our testimonies—no matter how simple—show others just how great God is and what He can do through one life. Let your life be that testimony— BECOME A YOUTH LEADER!

We have several programs that focus on different age ranges of young people in our community. We need your help in the following areas:

This program is geared towards children in Grades 3 to 6. Much like the Youth Group, the focus is on God while having a good time. Leaders can support this program by manning different stations (Crafts, baking, console gaming, camp fire, outside activities) and helping to facilitate group discussions around a selected topic.

Kids' Klub meets every second Wednesday from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm.

This is a gathering for youth in Grades 6 to 8 where kids hang out and play video games for an afternoon of fellowship, fun and formation, using the Edge Ministry Life Teen program.

The Youth Group meet every second Saturday from 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm.

This is a program that focuses on getting youth in our community off the streets and into a warm and inviting space. It is wildly popular and well-attended. During the school year there is upwards of 30-40 youth per night. Leaders ensure youth are adhering to safety rules while supporting a fun and relaxed atmosphere for all who attend.

Open Gym takes place every Friday from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm for Grades 3-6 and 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm for Grades 7-12.

Children meet every Sunday during the 11:30 am mass. This is a time when we get the children out of the pews and bring the gospel to them in terms they can understand. Children are returned to their parents shortly after the Homily.

Mission with Youth needs you!

Become an Adult Leader

A small commitment from you can have a HUGE impact on the life of a young person. Being an adult leader gives witness to our youth that we care about them. They remember when someone shows them goodness.  Please help us make a difference by giving some of your time.

Theology on Tap

This is an opportunity for Young Adults between the ages of 19 and 35, who wish to gather with like-minded people interested in deepening their faith life and their connection with God. It’s a chance to explore issues and topics that relate to the Catholic faith in a fun and casual environment. They gather once a month with a mug of beer or wine and some snacks to talk about all things God, faith and our lives, as we seek to do Gods will. Theology on Tap events are free! Cash bar, drink responsibly, and always designate a driver. Hope to see you there!
